Castagnata

There is nothing like warming up a November day than with some roasted chestnuts and a glass of wine or beer amongst friends and members of the club. The chestnuts, freshly arrived from Italy, were grilled on site by committee members. While the children played or warched furlan cartoons, the adults mostly talked or played briscola. Coffee or tea was accompanied by panettone and fresh home-made goodies baked by our Catherine Fiorin.
